4 Months for BW...

This post has been a long time coming...my goal is to keep up with them at least monthly so BW will have his baby info like C has.

Weight: 16.10 lbs
Length:  25 inches
Naptime: BW is on a three-hour schedule and naps four times a day for 45 minute to 2 hour stretches, depending on the nap.  BW's best nap is the one following his “lunch” feeding at 1 pm, where he'll nap anywhere from 1.5-2 hours.  We follow the E.A.S.Y. guidelines (eat, activity, sleep, you by the Baby Whisperer).
Bedtime: Our “little man” is going through sleep training as I write this.  The first night was last night and it went really well, considering.  Up until now he has been sleeping for 3-6 hour stretches and nursing roughly twice a night.
Food: None yet.
Best buddies
Nursing: BW is on a three (give or take a few minutes) hour schedule.  He takes the bottle like a champ which makes it easier for Team Tellez to check out our (relatively) new home
Skills:  “Little dude” is able to roll from his back to tummy and from tummy to his back, though he seems to prefer lying on his back; he can see more from that vantage point, after all.  Even though he's a back man he does awesome during tummy time and is able to  push his chest off the ground.  He's still not a fan of his Bumbo chair but loves his bouncer and will move his legs so much he'll bounce like crazy.  In addition he’s been reaching for and grabbing his various toys especially his "taggie" triangle and "Sofie" the giraffe.  All-in-all our boy is becoming stronger and more aware of his surroundings.  BW has also become quite the ham (probably because the mamarazzi is always snapping pictures).  He loves to smile at the camera, cell phones and most people! He's not as smiley with strangers but still loves to give us a toothless grin.  A bonus to the loads of smiles is the giggles! Brandon can get BW to laugh just by moving his head around, mommy can get him to laugh by tickling his sides!

Language: Baby boy is quite the chatterbox and is adding more and more consonant sounds to his repertoire like "ma", "la",  "goo" and high pitch squeals.
Fun Facts: “Little man” is now in size 3 diapers he wears 3-6 and 6 month clothes.  BW's nails seem to grow like crazy and some weeks it’s as often as 2 times a week that I have to trim them.  When he's on his tummy during tummy time he'll move his legs and arms like crazy almost like he's swimming without the water.  His favorite toy has become his “Sophie” giraffe, which he gums and sucks on like crazy when he can get it into his mouth.  He also loves his "taggie" blanket or triangle.

Tomorrow B will complete his first half marathon, the St. Louis Rock & Roll marathon and half marathon.  He's been training for awhile and we couldn't be prouder of him!  C is still attending preschool and LOVES it.  He especially loves bringing home his artwork and talking about the friends he played with that day.  A new development is that C has started to sing songs we had learned last spring at his Music Together class!  I guess they made an impression along with our awesome music teacher, Miss Justine.

Introducing Baby B
It's been a long time, I know.  Truth be told blogging hasn't been on my to do list and for that I'm sorry.  I know some of you depend on the blog to update you on all things Tellez especially if you're not on Facebook (which is where most of my updates are these days).  Anyway, I'm not going to spend this whole post updating on all that has been going on with us, but I'll get you caught up on the "big" things going on!

Bryce William
First, in September B and I found out we'd be expecting a new baby in June!  Annnnd last week we found out the baby is a BOY!! As of this post Baby B and I  are 20 weeks along in the pregnancy! We're so excited this family of three will become a family of four in five short months!  C is so proud and loves to tell anybody who will listen that he’s, “going to be a big brother”.

Speaking of C, he is growing like crazy and is scratching the 39” mark-he’s all legs!  He has also started going to “school” one day a week for four hours and loves it.  C gets to do crafts, play with other kids his age and most importantly he gets to bring a lunch box!
At Lake Berryessa

This past summer Brandon deployed for two months to Kuwait where he was the commander of his unit.  Upon returning home the family packed up and headed to Lake Tahoe; the lake was beautiful! Then in August we visited California Adventures, where C got to meet “Mater” and “Lighting” from the movie Cars!  We have more trips planned in the next few months and I PROMISE to update more often! I hope all of you are well and I'll post a couple belly pictures as they come and updated pictures of C, too!
