11 Months...

enjoying time at the park
Time just got away from me last month and I wasn't able to post C's 10 month recap, but here's his latest and greatest...enjoy!

Weight: 24 lbs

Length: ???

Nap Time: C still takes two naps a day.  Depending on the kind of day he's had he'll sleep from anywhere between 1-2 hours.

contemplating life
Bed Time: Little man still goes to bed around 7:30 after his bath, story time and prayers. During bathtime, he has learned how to splash mommy and daddy.  He's also started organizing his toys and figuring out which ones fit into which cup.  He still sleeps on average 11-11 1/2 hours a night. He typically sleeps until 7:30 even 8 some mornings!
Food: I still make his fruit and we've introduced him to meats.  He LOVES salmon and we've been slowly introducing whole foods (not mashed) like peas, banana, noodles, bread and shredded cheese.

Nursing: C has been completely weened for about 5 weeks now!  He's doing great w/ the formula and sippy cups

teeth 3 &4
Skills: Little Man has been cruising like crazy and has been exploring every inch of our house (thank goodness for the Roomba and Swiffer)!  He even took a few steps between Brandon and me and can walk only holding on to one of our hands.

Language & Fun Facts: C is now the proud owner of 4 teeth!  He got them about 1 1/2 weeks ago and loves showing them off!  Sweet Boy has been babbling for about 4 weeks and it really sounds like he's having a conversation; be it with us or with his toys.  He has also been strengthening his independence by playing happily on his own while mom makes a meal or while dad works in the office.  He amazes us everyday and we can't believe in 3 1/2 weeks he'll be 1 year old and a toddler, but I can't think about that yet...he's still our baby boy!
happy baby!

C also enjoyed his first Christmas and made out like a bandit with all the gifts from family!  We"ve had to hide some and rotate through them so he doesn't get overwhelmed.  We hope all of you  had a wonderful Christmas and are having a great New Year!
Whoa! Look at all those presents!

is this for me?
hmmmm.
I came, I conquered!

Disneyland...

To celebrate my SIL's birthday, we headed south to visit the "happiest place on earth"!  I hadn't been to Disneyland since I was 15 and for Brandon, since he was 17...so needless to say, it's been awhile.  I think we were more excited to see C's reaction to everything Disney.  Before leaving Brandon's folk's house we made a list of mandatory items/tasks we had to get/complete before we left the park: 1) have a churro 2) buy C some classic Mickey ears 3) enjoy some sour cherry candies and 4) buy C a Goofy doll.  Needless to say, the day was wonderful; both kiddos did great and we celebrated Melissa's birthday in style!  Enjoy the pictures!
